I made a visit to Reasonable Desires today, not having looked at their new releases in a while, and there were a couple I just had to get. This "Royal Guard" costume.
There was another vendor who used to sell something like this years ago, and I snoozed and losed, they apparently stopped selling it and never responded to my enquiries.
Something for Miss Britain to be coerced into?
(I might wear black boots next time. Just wanted to showcase the full ensemble.)

Lovely outfit, pose and set up. I'll have to use my Poser version more often, after seeing this. Thank you. I (we) once accidentally very nearly hit one of the Buckingham Palace guards with a bread roll when I (we) worked as royal messengers back in the 70s. I did apologise directly to him for the misshape (I was trying to avert my gaze) when I recovered the said roll, but he gave me the most god-awful glare as I did so and walked off back into the BP post-office with my tail between my legs.
